Brief Service Description / Additional Information:
Osteopathy is a hands-on treatment aimed to reduce pain and improve function/mobility for all areas of the body and for the whole family, from new-borns to age 90+.
Osteopaths use a range of techniques including physical manipulation, stretching, massage and other gentle techniques such as cranial osteopathy to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood supply to tissues and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms.
We may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
As osteopaths we are trained to screen for medical conditions and will tell you if you need to see another health professional such as your doctor or midwife.
Osteopathy has been proven to help with back pain, sciatica, the pain of arthritis, headaches arising from the neck, migraine prevention, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, minor sporting injuries, muscle spasms, neuralgia, fibromyalgia, mechanical neck pain, muscle spasms, inability to relax, and digestive problems.
